The Plain Parakeet (Brotogeris tirica) is a species of parrot endemic to Brazil.
They are about 21cm, have a mostly green body plumage, the chest and head are slightly yellowish, the back of the head and neck are bluish. The beak and feet are cream. They have long tail feathers.
Their habitats are subtropical and tropical forests, mountain forests, and are also commonly seen on the urban areas of São Paulo and Curitiba.
