I want to thank yu for your recent activity on this wiki. Very good. However, I noticed that while editing the Rio page today, you edited, waited a while, edited more, waited more, edited more, etc. Good edits, but again, you could have done mose in one go. I trust that it wasn't in ill intent, and that you're not returning to our old problem, right?
I wanted to make sure that all my writing wouldn't go to waste, so I made publishes for every few paragraphs just in case the page froze (since my computer is a bit slow). Also, there was a few times where I accidentally left out some details, so I went back to add them.
Hey bird, I gotta tell you, stop with these punctuation errors. For example, in the chick's pages, you write Eduardo's nickname as "pop-pop." No. The correct punctuation is "pop-pop". You've done this in many pages (writing "Real in Rio" as "Real in Rio." Look it up. This punctuation is incorrect, and it's becoming an annoyance.
Are you sure? Most of the grammar websites I've seen say that punctuation marks always go inside quotation marks, except in some certain instances. However, they also say that the rules may be different, depending on one's nationality. For instance, Americans would write it as "Real in Rio," while British would write it as "Real in Rio", so I think neither rule is actually incorrect. However, since the Rio movies are American, I figured it would make more sense to use the American punctuation rules.
Well, no I am American. And all my education has proven that when making quotes or naming certain things, like the songs in this case, the quotation marks must go outside the word. I'm very certain. We might have to get other people's opinions on this.
I have no objection when it comes from a person who has graduated with an English major degree. How about I asked my English teacher - he's British, by the way - and we'll see about it? I'll bring you the answer. Fortunately, I see him to tomorrow.
My personal comments or opinions shall be absent from this discussion.

I can second that. The way english calss (and every class for that matter) taught over here is for a final exam that we take at the end of the year. We dont study how to spell, and we dont study proper grammer. All they teach us is how to write prompts for the final exam so that the school can pass us along to the next grade. The prompts are stupid too. The one prompt that i rember that I got on the exam was "write about a time when you had to make A difficult dicision." Then there is the grades you need to pass the tests (wich are ridiculously low) are
english is scored differently. you get graded 0-4 you need a 2 to pass
Any way, now to the point. Because of the way english class is taught here, I can't spell AT ALL. And my grammer is terriable. I dont make any edits to the wiki because I dont want to make stupid spelling/ grammer errors and make the wiki look unprofessional, or have to make more work for the hard working editors of this site. And I look like an idiot when I try to post things online.
ok thats the end of my rant. Sorry if I went off topic or if it wasn't necessary. I just felt like it had to be said.
Tiago, I will not be offended by you being skeptical, as every one has different opinions on what would be best for the wiki and if it's different from mine, I would not be offended.
Okay, what are you trying to do? I have seen some awesome editors in my time here, people who edit like crazy page after page, day after day. Adding 20 pictures to pages in one go. That is some truly admirable work.
However, you are a different story.
My first warning (well, not so much of a warning, more of a reminder, came when you edited Blu's section repeatedly over the course of 5 minutes, taking up seven slots in the Recent Activity. You could have very easily done it all in one go, yet you sort of stretched it by doing it section by section, each counting as an individual edit. I though it was a rookie mistake, since you had barely joined the wiki and started to stretch your wings. A reminder/warning, no problem.
Now, you're really starting to get on my nerves. I usually am slow to anger, allowing various chances, unlike many others I've seen across wikis. But there is one thing that ignites my anger above all else...
Anyway, not important right now. I looked at some of your edits, to see what kind of work you were doing. I first noticed something wrong recently in Dr.Monae's page. You had corrected the mispelled word female, adding an "e". But then, I noticed that you were the person who typed it incorrectly. Then, I noticed that you had literally spelled out the word "female", typing one letter, then publishing, typing another, then publishing. Not only that, but you did it all in under 3 minutes, meaning that this was done on purpose.
Suspicious, I checked your other edits. You did similiar things on Tulio's page, editing a section one piece at a time (first adding quotes to "Rio 2", publishing, making Linda's name a link, publishing, changing the way the link was displayed, publishing). Edits that could have been done in one edit, or maybe two. You stretched it out over 5 or 6 edits. Not cool.
You did similiar things in Linda's page, editing one section of her alias at a time, something that could very easily have been done in one edit.
This is completely unacceptable. Now that I think of it, you have done similiar things before. This isn't a one-time mistake. You are a repeat offender. This is completely unacceptable. You are exploting the system to rack up your edits and earn badges faster. Not in our jungle.
I will have the other admins assist me in investigating for further proof in your contributions and editing history. You cannot deny this. You have been exploiting with full concious for a long time. You have done this repeatedly behind our backs. All my respect for you is gone. Exploitation is the one violation that I hate with a passion. It will be a miracle if you can somehow redeem yourself. A "sorry, I'll stop" won't cut it.
We will investigate for further evidence, which I will gladly post, should you try to deny this or claim it is a one-time mistake. While I could do it right now, I'm going to talk to the other admins before banning you. But still, consider yourself up for blocking. This is a serious offense, and I'm not going to let this go easily.
Please hear me out. The reason I intentionally edited one letter at a time was to boost up my number of edits on the Rio Wiki, since I wanted this wiki to be marked as my favorite wiki on my profile, instead of the GTA Wiki. I don't really care for earning the achievements or badges on the wikis, so if the admins think that I deserve to have them taken away, then I'll accept this punishment. I understand that you're upset with me, and I don't expect you to forgive me so easily, but I sincerely apologize for going too far. I have respect for everyone who has made good contributions to this wiki, and I am not trying to appear better or more important than anyone by inadvertently earning so many badges. I would truly hate to be banned from the Rio Wiki over something like this. Again, my apologies for going too far. I will not be doing this again. Like Blu said in the first movie, "I come in peace!"
Hey bird, I'm not mad or anything, but I do want to point something out. Going through the recent activity page, I saw that you made a series of edits on Blu's page, each counting seperately. However, it's kind of spam-ish, and very repetitive. If you're looking through a page to try to find any errors, make sure you edit the whole page not just a section of it. Then each individual edit you make takes up another spot on the recent activity page. Now, sometimes you miss something, and have to re-edit a page 2, maybe 3 times. But eight? Kind of annoying.
Like I said, not mad, just a heads up. Try to edit the page and not just a section, and it'll save us from the clutches of spam. XD
