One of the leaders on our Discord server just answered a question on Reddit. It turns out, Carlos Saldana is trying very hard to get this film in production.
Since my friend (and main mentor) Lordofduel has been busy. I've been thinking of becoming a bureaucrat. I used to be Spixmacaw101 then SpixNala101 for a name change. Sadly, I deleted my original account due to stress (I'm fine now though). My new account is now spixmacaw100.
I've been good for a long while. I first got my adminship on around 1000 edits. Then at some point I got them removed due to disapproved inactivity of a admin. And got them back again later.
I just want the well being of the wiki. I don't know if I'm ready or not for being a bureaucrat. But I want your opinion posted in this discussion. Please be respectful while giving your opinion. Giving a valid reason would make the vote even better.
Does anyone write them here?
I'm back from my mental health break. I've moved on from a overly angry user (I won't go any further). In case my avatar is different, I figured out something very important (you can ask on my thread, I also asked to use the base on DA before using).
New plan on recurring users:
They can have account after account as long as they don't violate the rules (spam, vandalism harass etc.) Please read our rules page if you need any help!

Does Anyone Know How Unnamed Humans And Animals From Rio Movies?
I've seen people saying that Rio actually had a negative effect on Spix Macaw's than helping them, and how their population drastically went down after the movie came out because people wanted a Spix Macaw as a pet. Is this actually true or not because even before Rio came out, the bird was already rare by the time of it's discovery in 1819, Spix Macaw populations declining in the 1970s and early 80s, and how a wild Spix Macaw was last seen in 2000. It wouldn't really be possible for people get a Spix Macaw as a pet anyway because Spix Macaw's were already critically endangered and rare by the time Rio came out unless they got them through some illegal method.
It's 2024, and no Director, producer, or other cast and crew have been announced for Rio 3. That's 10 years from Rio 2's release. What do you think?
I'm back
I always had doubts on Nico's species - some sources say he's a yellow canary (including this wiki) but others say he's an Atlantic canary... and yesterday Carlos Saldanha posted a pic of a Saffron finch calling it "Nico": https://www.instagram.com/p/C2F0Fg9vr8X/
IMO it makes more sense than canary because it is native to Brazil
Recently my Cockatiel Kiki passed away, she was 12 (Cockatiel's live 10 to 15 years average).
Because mom and dad couldn't take care of Stich and Simchah anymore because mom and dad got older (and their vet got COVID so he is retired), they are now among a nice lady who has 9 birds. My Caique plays with another Caique in her house. They both get fresh fruit and veggies daily. The two younger birds Stich and Simchah are in a much happier situation.
Hello everyone. I wish you all have a happy New Year.

Hello, Your Roberto-ish macaw here came by to say Merry Christmas to the birds of the jungle, I hope you birds had some awesome gifts, nuts to eat for Christmas dinner, and an awesome day.
Hello everyone, I wish you all a merry Christmas.
Hello everyone, I hope you all are well.
I would like to know what font is used on the characters' banners (I want to make banners to the Brazilian Rio Wiki, but I do not know the font used here).
Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, wherever you are. 🥰
I hope everyone reading this message is well.
A few days ago I saw on TikTok several videos of a woman, apparently very successful and famous on this social network. She introduced herself as a person who likes the movie "Rio" a lot, but really hates "Rio 2".
She made a lot of arguments about everything she considers "wrong" in this movie, and also had an "explanation" for all the hatred she feels for the character of Jewel.
In my opinion, her arguments were not realistic and were simply a reflection of personal hatred and bad emotions.
What surprised me was the number of people who agreed with her. The videos were flooded with comments claiming that Blu and Jewel's relationship was the ultimate example of toxicity and that Jewel was just being very selfish.
I personally believe that the relationship between Blu and Jewel was absolutely not toxic and that there was no selfishness on one side or the other.
I'm interested in your opinion on everything. Do you think that the movie "Rio 2" is an example of a healthy relationship?
All this hatred that has been rekindled has made me very sad.
Regardless of what opinion a certain person has, anything can be said without insults.
